Each year, Ariel-Foundation Park plays host to the community’s big Independence Day celebration, combining live music, food vendors, and a fireworks display over the lakes.

• The celebration typically begins in the evening with a concert inside the Schnormeier Event Center (SEC). Doors usually open around 5:00 p.m.
  
  
• In recent years, opener acts (local bands or tribute acts) perform early evening sets, followed by a headliner show around 7–7:30 p.m. For example, in 2025 the headliner was Creedence Revived — a tribute band — with openers starting at 5:30 p.m.
  
  
• After sunset (~10:00 p.m.), the night ends with a fireworks show — the highlight of the evening for many families.
  
  
• Food trucks and refreshment vendors are often on-site, offering snacks and meals for concertgoers.

Beyond the 4th of July, Ariel-Foundation Park plays host to a variety of concerts and entertainment events, often held in the Schnormeier Event Center or on the lawns and patios near the lakes.

• In past years, tribute bands, such as Face‑2‑Face (honoring Elton John & Billy Joel), have headlined major concerts at the park.
  
  
• The park also sometimes features seasonal or thematic events such as family dance parties, community fundraisers, and community-oriented events. For example, past editions have included events like a “Fantastic Family Dance Party” and faith-based gatherings under names such as Praisestock.
  
  
• For larger events, attendees often bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for outdoor viewing on the terraces or by the lakes, adding to the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Ariel-Foundation Park isn’t just about concerts and fireworks — it’s a community hub all year long. The park hosts a variety of seasonal and community-oriented events:

• A past annual tradition has been a “Trick-or-Treat Trail” — a Halloween-themed walk where children and families enjoy candy, face painting, games, and more, often in collaboration with local businesses and organizations.
  
  
• The park has also supported fitness and educational community events — in prior years, events have included bicycle safety courses, nature & conservation education (like planting milkweed), and other family-friendly programs.
  
  
• The open lawns, lakeside pavilions, and scenic landscape make Ariel-Foundation Park a frequent backdrop for informal community meetups, picnics, and outdoor recreation — even when no formal event is scheduled.
